First, I am sure that you all have heard about the riots in Madrid. I am ok and will be avoiding areas of Madrid for the rest of the trip. Spain is in a serious recession and the Prime Minister announced today that he was raising sales tax from 18 to 21 percent (we thought we had it bad). In a country with almost 25% unemployment, there is bound to be some unrest.
